Wow! What a whirlwind weekend.

Thank you to all of the 104 players, hailing from 29 states and three Canadian provinces, who joined us in New Orleans, Louisiana this weekend for a beautiful three days of Scrabble! We heard stories of upsets, new players, young players, veterans, seafood, jazz, muffulettas, poboys, and more. We were thrilled to see our favorite community enjoying our favorite city.

We are grateful for the donations and other support we received from the CoCo, WGPO, and Scopely. We're also grateful, of course, for all of our players. Finally, I want to recognize our organizational team. Christian and Andrew Kay produced another wonderful livestream of all 20 rounds this weekend. We reached a new peak of over 200 viewers for this event. Keep a lookout for a final wrap-up video, too! Tim and Kate Fukawa-Connelly continue to run a seamless event with pairings expertise past my understanding. And if you saw our home throughout the year, you'd know that preparations for this event started long before January, so thanks to all who contributed.
